You really have to sit far back into the seat to make it comfy. If you don't, you won't get the lumbar support at the right spot. But I guess this makes you sit right : Put together just fine following the instructions.

I bought this for my home office, after sitting in an Aeron at work a few years back. I was looking for something as comfy without the hefty price tag. I settled on this one because of the price and the users reviews at another site (don't recall now, I've had this chair for over 6 months now.) It has exceeded my expectations, and what a bargain. I think I paid about $125 for mine. Not as adjustable as the Aeron, but all those knobs confused me. The only drawback for me is the the seat length. I am only about 5'2" and it is a bit deep for me.

Installation: Simple. You have about 13 screws of different sizes, for 3 parts (seat plate, back rest, arms). The destination for each screw is clearly labeled on the little package.
Back Rest: Adequate lumbar support and comfortable, breathable mesh. It's not terrible. It's not great. It's adequate.
Seat: Adequate again. It's semi-firm, not soft, but not rock hard either. With time it will probably soften up, hopefully. If not, I'll buy a seat pad.
Arm Rests: As others have stated, these are the weakest component. They are stable and they have multiple selectable levels of height, however the material is not comfortable and they wiggle a bit.
Tilt: The tilt mechanism only allows you to lock in a straight upright position or to have a free tilt. There is no lock setting when leaning back. Again, as with everything else about the chair, it is adequate and nothing more.
Component Quality: Average comfort, solid and strong material.
Overall: This chair is $50 overpriced at $173, in my opinion. I feel the generic Office Max "Fuego" chair was more comfortable than this, with better tilt controls, and components that were of comparable quality.
