This dining room set is solid and attractive. I would concur with most of the positive reviews, especially those that observed that the "solid" wood is composed of lots of interlocked little pieces, but that unlike many such interlocked tabletops, this one looks pretty natural. Nobody will think this table is "fancy," but neither will anyone sneer (unless they are the type to sneer at everything). For the price, the quality will be tough to beat, even for very aggressive shoppers.

This set takes a long time to assemble. I sped things up considerably by cutting off the end of the included L-shaped Allen wrench so that I could put it in my power drill. Nonetheless, assembly took me nearly 3 hours.

I bought this item through Vision Decor. They were not particularly communicative about when the item would ship, but once the item got off backorder, they and the shipping company were great.

I was really hesitant to make a huge furniture purchase online without actually seeing or touching the product, but after the other great reviews....I took a chance. So glad I did, set looks wonderful! Sturdy, all hardwood. The only damage was corner was chipped....will touch up fine. Definitely not worth trying to ship it back. Fabulous set for a fraction of what furniture stores want to charge.
