I love windchimes, I love New Age, I love music, I don't like my upstairs neighbors - this windchime is perfect for me! It's longer than it looks it looks in the picture - they also don't show the chain to hang it, its very long and has a hook instead of a ring like some other windchimes. It makes a lot of noise and rings loud and clear (hence the neighbor part :) My entire family loves this windchime. I live in Alaska and it's 22 hours of sunlight now so I am not going to be able to review the glow-in-the-dark part of it for five or six months, sorry.

I love cats and the color blue so had to get this when I was browsing. I hung it on the double shepherd's hook I have outside my den window and can hardly keep my eyes off it. The chimes are small, the longest being about 4-5" but I can still hear it through the window if I don't have the TV on. The string with the blue marble is much longer than in the picture. The glow-in-the-dark feature is not brilliant but I bought it because it is cute and that's all that matters.

The Alden Lap Desk Is just as others here have stated. The flip top should have been centered for better balance. The quality of the wood used is good but is lost on the poor construction of the table. The legs are not ajustable, but that too is made mute by the few hours to days the legs will remain intact. As others have stated in their reviews, it is possible to reinforce the poor construction of the table, but I feel it is beyond reason for anyone to pay full price for a fully assembled prouduct and have to waste time and money repairing design flaws. Avoid this product. You would do better with a wooden breakfast tray.

I have yet to find the perfect laptop tray, I took a big leap and ordered this one. I do not recommend this product as the leg brace in the bottom will break easily. I could probably and will probably make my own. Product quality is not great as expected. So conclusion, buyer beware.

I bought this Gregory raincover for my camera bag. The first one I had was made by Mountainsmith. It lasted as long as my first time out! It scraped against a wall and the material ran (ripped)...no more waterproof. Tossed that out; you get what you pay for. That was only $12.

The Gregory's material is more rugged, it has elastic to fit comfortably around the bag (and around my tripod) AND it has a velcro strap (that goes around the bag to keep it in place in case of very windy storms. I use this with my Lowepro Fastpack 250. (It would fit the 350, too.)

If you want to protect your camera gear this helps.

The case kept my iPhone 4 dry on my recent trip to Hawaii, so 3 stars for that. But the major reason I got it was to take underwater photos and video while I snorkeled and I was unable to do that! The touch screen just wouldn't work under the water. Above water worked just fine, the second it went below, nothing. So disappointing. I tried starting the video before I went under and yes, it recorded, but what it recorded was a bunch of nothing! Just cloudy blue-greenness. You could hear the action, but couldn't see anything. I am glad that my husband had a dedicated underwater camera so we did get coverage. But this was supposed to be my "fun, easy to share with friends" method and it failed, miserably.

Awesome case - works extremely well with one caveat - you apparently cannot use a capacitive touchscreen underwater. In hindsight, this should have been apparent. I didn't realize this until I was using this as my backup camera during a snorkeling trip in Hawaii. My supposedly waterproof panasonic camera leaked and died, so I had my old iphone 3gs in this case. I was first puzzled that the camera worked fine above water, but would not trigger underwater. While puzzling over this on the beach, it occurred to me that the capacitive touchscreen of the iPhone probably wouldn't work in a conductive medium (saltwater). Subsequent searches of the internets appear to confirm this - the screen essentially "sees" one gigantic finger touching the entire screen. If they would make a version with the ability to use the volume buttons, then you could take pictures using that functionality if your phone/OS supports it.

What I ended up doing is shooting video. With the phone above the surface, you can start recording using the touchscreen, then go underwater and video whatever you want. When you want to stop, hold the phone above water to allow the touchscreen to work again.

Great speakers for the price. Sound is better than stock. I put these in my girlfriends civic, she never cranks the volume, and these are not amplified. They are only receiving 50w each at most, probably not even that. Yet one of them started crackling lately, it is most likely blown. Good thing i have a speaker repair guy, who can repair it for real cheap other wise this review would be a lot more critical. Since the speakers should not blow within the first month or so of being installed, and only being powered by the head unit.

I would suggest going with Powerbass/diesel audio instead of these MB Quart, if you want quality speakers for cheap that will not blow and will handle way more power.

Upon Reading the previous Rating, I decided to test it out.
I Now Have a Legacy 300 Watt Amp powering these 6x9 MBQuarts in the kick panel and 5x7 MBQuarts in the rear and they Rock!
All of these parts replaced my previous aftermarket speaker components. I had cheap Jensen 6x9s and PowerBass 5x7s until one blew and my Crunch USA amp was dying after years of abuse. My new setup brought life back to my little pickup and I would do it all over 100 times. I love the clarity, range and volume that I can crank out with only 75watts peak per speaker. makes me wonder what they would sound like with more power!...Legacy 1000w amp might be my next upgrade.

I currently have a 4 yo, 2 yo, 1 yo, and another due any day now. As a result, we have 12 car seats! I bought two of these as my 4 yo was outgrowing the Britax Marathon (which we have several of). They serve us well but they are so bulky.

I wanted something safe like the Marathons but my 4 yo is not quite ready for a no back booster seat. So as soon as he reached the requirements, I bought these for him. He loves them! I mean, what kid wouldn't want a Recaro racing style seat?

First of all, he feels like a big boy since he uses a regular seat belt and not the five point lock down belts. I even gave him a Wii steering wheel to use so he can pretend he's driving too. More importantly, here's why we love it also:

A. He can now buckle and unbuckle himself, a savior when dealing with multiple kids.

B. I have to play musical chairs with all the seats in the minivan from time to time (and sometimes between vehicles). This allows me to simply pick up and place wherever I want without having the need to install. These also work with off-center seats in the second row of our minivan.

C. Not sure what other reviewers are used to but these are actually pretty light. Then again, I'm comparing to my Britax Marathons. I "clean" these in 5 seconds flat: pick up, turn upside down, shake, and put back on seat.

For those of you who own a Scion tC and have issues with the somewhat deep butt pockets, look no more. Originally, I was using a Cosco Juvenile Pronto Belt Positioning Booster Seat, Eldorado. It had no bolsters and I hated seeing my 4 y/o guy slump forward when he'd fall asleep. The base had a much smaller riser and ended up sitting lopsided. I also didn't like the idea of no head protection, should a side impact occur. Our 2 y/o girl uses his old Recaro Como. When I saw the Vivo was also available in the same color, I thought, "Why not give it a shot?" Especially since the Como also fit perfectly in the pocket. The Vivo fits much better in and above the pocket. As you can see in the product photo, there is a bit more of a riser. Now the seat sits completely flat and there is no slumping. The belt does twist a little in the seat routes, but not too badly.

It appears that the back seat buckles in the 2011 tC and xB models are a little more recessed than in earlier models, but there is no problem with this seat in the tC. I have yet to try this in the wife's xB, but the flat bottomed booster (we had two of those and two Comos) is very difficult to buckle. If anyone is interested, I will test and update this review.

Recently purchased a heavy duty Manfrotto Flex Arm. I just ordered my second one after realizing how versatile this will be in placing Nikon Speedlights on a photo set. This Flex Arm connects to a standard Manfrotto 3/8s male spigot. The 5001B Nano stand comes with a 3/8's male spigot at the end of it. So I have paired that super light-weight stand with this Flex Arm and now my SB-900's or SB-800's can be placed just about anywhere, and at any angle.
Sweet!

I also have some Manfrotto clamps that can accept a Flex Arm with a 3/8's spigot adapter. The spigot adapter is sold separately (Grrrrrr.....).

You might not need the heavy duty version of this for my application... but I don't mind paying a few bucks more for something as sold as this. I have not attempted to hold a camera body with this yet.... Something to go experiment with in a controlled setting.

THis is the second time I ordered this product. I use this to attach a PC Camera to it. Very useful product but it seems to have quality problems? The end screw that bolts into a clamp is a bit loose causing the camera to rotate.

Seeing the image of this item doesn't quite do it justice - I was expecting it to be a relatively compact, flexible arm (despite the "Heavy Duty" tag on it). I was pretty impressed when it came and was as heavy, thick and tough as it was. The arm itself is almost an inch thick throughout, almost 2 feet long, more than a pound and a half and very tough.

I bought this based on the information that it can hold 1.1 LBs - figuring this would hold a speedlight and not be TOO difficult to twist around.

It can definitely hold a speedlight - I'd imagine it can even hold a DSLR (But I'm not about to try it!) - the thing is, and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not, the thing is REALLY tough and a bit hard to bend (it needs some force - you'll need 2 hands to bend it). This is both a good thing (it won't bend on it's own!) but a negative if you need to do anything more than slight bends, or need to quickly adjust the angle.

One end has a standard stud-end for a Superclamp (with a 3/8" threaded hole, so you can attach it on top of a lightstand tip). The other end has a threaded 1/4" tip (to attach something like a wireless trigger for a flash).

The great thing about this is that while it's heavy, it gives some great flexibility (no pun intended). While you can always superclamp a flash to a railing, you're somewhat limited on it's angle/direction. This lets you superclamp a flash to a railing and position it EXACTLY how you need it.. angled, straight up, straight down, bend around, etc.. Sometimes the length is a bit too much (at close to 2 feet, you sometimes wish it were just a few inches). It's not the lightest thing to carry (superclamp + arm = 2 lbs), but compared to a lightstand and ballhead, it's much nicer.

I've been a bit mixed on it.. I like the extra flexibility it gives me, the light-weight (in comparison to a lightstand) and small size.. but on the opposite, wish it were a bit shorter and more flexible. It's one of those things you just can't win on, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and recommend it. It's the best option out there that I've found, it's sturdy/secure and does its job.

I HAD to have this wok after using my daughter-in-laws! These pans have a ceramic-titanium nonstick finish - NOT teflon, silverstone or any other coating that eventually breaks down and contaminates the food. I think Scanpan cookware can probably be used for several generations. One of the best kitchen investments I've ever made.

After years and years of trying to find a non-stick pan that wouldn't go bad (stick...flake, etc) I finally came upon the Scanpan. The wok looked perfect. I purchased it, and a smaller frypan from a local store (what a waste, Amazon's price is less than HALF the local price!). All was well for about 5 months, then the center bottom started to roughen and stick. It got worse as the months went by. A close examination last month showed little fragments had broken off (we ate them!) and the entire center surface was rough. Since I had paid so much ($179 for the wok) I was VERY careful to use only bamboo and plastic implements....never a metal implement...never. I followed warranty directions exactly, but DID occasionally use it as a wok and used higher, but not smoking hot, temperatures. Still....it ended up looking much like the $39 non-stick wok I had purchased from a restaurant supply house two years ago. The smaller frying pan still looks good. Very disappointing.

So I think I've learned two things: always buy from Amazon, and there is no such thing as a durable non-stick pan.

We had been going through 1 or 2 non-stick pans a year. We finally got tired of people working for us scratching them with metalic utensils. So, now we use this one ourselves and use a regular heavy duty stainless still (not not-stick) for nannies/family/baby sitters to use. We have been pretty careful with it and don't use it at high temperature and hand wash with a sponge. It's lasted pretty nicely with some minor cosmetic blemishes but is still fully non-stick. Have not bought a new pan now in 2-3 years. Problem solved. I just wish the different sizes were just as affordable.

Garmin designed this GPS carrying case with a cheap elastic strap to close. When it inevitably breaks (I give it a year or two, max.), you'll own a nice case that can only be kept closed with a rubber band. They should have used either velcro, a zipper, or a metal snap. I decided to return it and buy a Case Logic product (GPSP-2 Professional) that was only slightly more expensive but is a durable nylon case with a heavy duty zipper. It also has a separate lined and padded compartment for the GPS device and is large enough to store the car charger cable.

Although it's a bit small for my Garmin nuvi 4ish inch gps, I realize that case is one of the best out there for the Garmin in particular. At first it's a little annoying to pull the cord over the button but after awhile, it's not so bad once it stretches out. I also always face the screen of my GPS towards the back of the case because it could potentially be scratched if facing the front of the case. All in all, it's better than the alternatives for Garmin I'd say but I have to admit that Tom Tom's case with the magnetic closing mechanism is much more sleek and easy to access.
